It is administered through Sun Life Financial on behalf of the Government of Canada and is available to eligible individuals based on household income.

Who Is Eligible for the CDCP?

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a Canadian resident with a valid Social Insurance Number
  • Have filed your most recent tax return
  • Have an adjusted family net income below $90,000
  • Not have access to private dental insurance

Seniors 65 and older, adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate, and children under 18 in eligible families may have access to enhanced coverage. Eligibility is determined by the Government of Canada, not by our clinic.
