How long does a denture repair take?
Many repairs, such as fixing a crack or replacing a tooth, can be completed the same day. Relines and more involved repairs may need additional lab time. Your denturist will give you a clear timeline once they have assessed your dentures.
Do you repair dentures made at another clinic?
Yes. We repair complete and partial dentures regardless of where they were originally made. Bring them in and your denturist will assess what can be done.
Can I walk in, or do I need an appointment?
Calling ahead is best so we can let you know how soon we can see you and have time set aside for your repair. Call us and we will arrange the quickest option for your situation.
Does the CDCP or my insurance cover denture repairs?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan can cover denture repairs and relines for eligible patients, subject to its rules and limits. Many private insurance plans also cover repairs. We bill the CDCP and private insurance directly, and we confirm your coverage before any work begins.
Should I try to glue my broken denture myself?
Home glues can make a proper repair harder and may not be safe in your mouth. It is better to bring the pieces to a denturist so the repair is done correctly and your dentures last.
