CDCP denture questions, answered
Do I qualify for CDCP denture coverage?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is generally for Canadian residents with an adjusted family net income under $90,000 who do not have access to private dental insurance and have filed their most recent tax return. The simplest way to know for certain is to book a free coverage check with us.
What will my dentures cost with the CDCP?
It depends on your household income. Many people have no co-pay, while higher income tiers share part of the cost. Some coverage limits also apply. We confirm exactly what your plan covers, and anything you may owe, before any treatment starts.
Does North Hill Denture Clinic bill the CDCP directly?
Yes. We are set up to bill the Canadian Dental Care Plan directly, so you do not have to pay up front and claim it back. We also bill private insurance directly.
What denture services does the CDCP cover?
The plan can cover complete dentures, partial dentures, relines, rebases, and repairs, subject to its rules and frequency limits. Implant-supported dentures are a separate treatment and are not covered by the CDCP.
How long does it take to get dentures?
New dentures usually take a few appointments over a couple of weeks. At your free consultation your denturist will give you a clear timeline for your situation.
